Rolling, rolling, rolling.....

Progress has been a bit slow of late, but I did manage to be in the right place at the right time when a very useful item was advertised for sale on the 16mm Locobuilders eGroup, so I am now the proud owner of a really nice rolling road thanks to Bill Winter who made it. I tried it out this afternoon and all is well. I'll have to get the old Mamod put back together now that I have somewhere to test it properly.

I could do with one of these for P4, O, On2 and N too!

Hedgehog shock!

Critters on the line! A young hedgehog recently caused the crew to abandon their train - even leaving the engine in forward gear.

















"Coregazer" as the critter became known spent a few hours sniffing about and scoffing our cat food before vanishing again.











Further problems for the crew when Molly the giant cat decided to sleep next to the still warm boiler!
